PRINT & BOOKMAKING SERVICES

With the use of our recently acquired Perfect Binding equipment, and our connections with various local (and almost local) printing concerns, we can now offer the independent author an affordable route for self-publication in a print format.

Although we can make your book conform to any dimensions you require (up to 8" x 10"), we strongly recommend 5" x 8" (that is a size that is the most economical and most efficient.)

Our layout services are billed at only $30 per hour (usually 2 - 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the content.

Printing costs are difficult to estimate...for the 5" x 8" book, the charges amount to $0.015 per black and white page...the color cover with scoring is $1.00 per book...and the finishing charges (binding, cutting, etc.) add another $1.00 to each book. (NOTE: The number of pages that your book will contain will depend on your choice of font and font size, line spacing, etc. When you initially send us your manuscript, we will analyze and create an estimate for your approval before proceeding.)

Our bindings include: Perfect Binding (soft cover paperback), Spiral Coil Binding, and Saddle-stitch binding for smaller books and pamphlets.
